Higonokami by Nagao Kanekoma are traditional Japanese folding knives. The Nagao Kanekoma smithy has over 100 years of experience with these types of knives, and is the only smithy in Japan that is 'approved' to make Higonokami knives.
The length of the blade is 7cm and full length is 17cm
The knife is made in 3 layers with white steel #2 (Shirogami) in the core, and soft iron on the outside. The shape of the blade should represent a katana. The handle is made of brass, which, like the blade, will patina with time and use.
A perfect little knife for cardboard boxes, vacuum bags, butcher's string, etc.. In short, it's a fu**ing badass hobby knife.
