Hatsukokoro is a brand from Amagasaki close to Osaka City. They collaborate with various blacksmiths and sharpeners around Japan and develop new series in an attempt to make some of the best knives in the world, but also really good knives in a lower price range to be able to supply all different needs.
The Hayabusa series is a true laser that is very light and really thin behind the egg, but also on the back. They deliver a really good cutting experience for the price.
The name of this knife comes from the stainless damascus cladding, which is composed of a combination of brass and copper that gives a beautiful play of colors.
