Yu Kurosaki is a relatively young forge that has taken the knife world by storm over the past few years. The incredibly skilled forge is known for its extremely beautiful and functional knives. He is particularly known for his Tsuchime finish, which can be found on, among other things, his Senko series
The knife here is a 240mm chef's knife made in 3 layers, with respectively SG2 in the core and 2 stainless outer layers. SG2 is a very hard, stainless powder steel type which has the characteristics of being very sharp and holding the egg for a long time.

The knife, like all other good Japanese knives, cannot be machine washed , always wash your knives by hand. The knife cannot cut harder objects such as; frozen food, bones, hard cheeses, nuts, chocolate, etc.
