Peeler in I-shaped version from KAI Shun
A peeler is an indispensable tool in the kitchen β at least it will be after you try this model. KAI Shun is primarily known for their very high quality chef's knives, but what many may not know is that KAI is a large conglomerate that also supplies instruments to the pharmaceutical industry β they make e.g. some of the world's best scalpels. The peelers from KAI Shun are produced in the same place as the scalpels, and you therefore get a peeler with a particularly sharp edge.
The I-peel here is very easy to use, and has a double blade so that it can be used by both left- and right-handed people. The blade is made of VG-10, a stainless alloy that is also found as core steel in the best knife series from KAI Shun.
In addition to this model, thin peelers from KAI are also available as T peelers or as wide T peelers.
We advise against washing the peeler in the dishwasher.
