Shoichi Hashimoto is recognized as one of the finest Damascus artists in Japan, and his knives are a true masterpiece. This 240mm 'Yuuzan' Gyuto knife combines the best of traditional craftsmanship with modern design. The knife is created with a unique San-Mai construction, where both the cladding and the core steel are made of multiple layers of steel, providing exceptional sharpness and durability. The core steel consists of Blue #2 (Aogami) and White #2 (Shirogami), which together create an unrivaled cutting ability and a beautiful pattern. After forging, the knife is finished by the famous sharpener Naohito Myojin, ensuring a perfect sharpness and finish. The tang is elegantly engraved with the name, number and date, making each knife a unique work of art.
