Suncraft Senzo SG2 165mm Santoku

kr.1.499,00

In Seki City is the knife manufacturer Sankurafuto (Suncraft). Since 1959, Suncraft has therefore had knife production underway, and since then has delivered some cool knives in both the East and the West.

The Senzo Professional series from Suncraft may look simple, but the cutting ability of these knives should not be underestimated. We would probably think that in terms of pure performance, these knives are some of the best we have for the price.

The knife here is a 165mm Santoku made in 3 layers, with respectively SG2 in the core and 2 stainless outer layers. SG2 is a very hard, stainless powder steel type which has the characteristics of being very sharp and holding the egg for a long time.

The handle is a western-style handle made of pakka wood.

  • Sankurafuto (Seki, Japan)
  • SG2/R2
  • HRC 63-64
  • Stainless steel
  • Western-style stock (WA)

  • Foodgear always advises against cutting all kinds of bones and frozen goods. Knives must not be washed in a dishwasher, as this removes sharpness and provokes rust - even in stainless alloys!
