Sakai Kikumori has been making knives since 1926, and since then they have become known as a top brand from Sakai. They work together with some incredibly skilled blacksmiths and grinders who, in collaboration, create some fantastic products.
The Asagiri series is forged by the legendary Yoshikazu Tanaka, who is recognized as one of the best, if not the best blacksmith in Sakai. It is built in 3 layers with Hvidt #2 in the core and a stainless cladding.
The knife is a Bunka and can be used for smaller pieces of meat, fish and vegetables.
