Standing knife magnet in wood and Italian grain leather from Rune Jakobsen Design
Definitely one of the absolute finest standing knife magnets we've ever seen. "Leather Protected", as the name suggests, is a thick wall of wood with a covering of deliciously soft Italian leather.
NOTE: Aniline leather (grain leather) is used, which is as close as possible to the raw natural leather. As this type of leather has no real surface protection, natural small scars and other "impurities" can occur in the leather, which gives it a deliciously raw and rustic look.
The magnets are invisibly encased in the wood and distributed in several rows so that you achieve optimal adhesion with several contact points on the knife blade. This prevents your knives from "spinning" around and being attracted to each other, even if the knives are close together.
