Nigara Hamono, a renowned smithy from the Aomori region of Japan, proudly presents the K-Tip Nakiri 180mm, a knife that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation. Master smith Go Yoshizawa is known for his ability to explore new techniques and create knives that are not only functional but also works of art. This Nakiri is made with Aogami Super (blue super) steel, hardened to an impressive hardness of 63-64 HRC, ensuring sharpness and durability that is unmatched.
The knife has an elegant stainless steel cladding that protects the blade and gives it a stylish look. The dark migaki finish and the eye-catching tsuchime on the top of the blade add a unique touch, while the kasumi finish near the edge provides a smooth cutting performance. The K-Tip Nakiri is ideal for chopping, slicing and preparing both meat, fish and vegetables, making it an indispensable all-rounder in any kitchen.
