KAI has made scissors that are both sharp like their knives and hygienic. The blade of the scissors is made of VG-10, which is the same steel as the core steel in most of their most popular series.
In addition, the scissors can be taken apart simply by opening them all the way up. This makes the scissors extremely easy to maintain and clean.
The handle of the scissors consists of hard plastic covered by a layer of soft rubber-like plastic that makes the scissors comfortable to handle. The symmetry of the handle makes the scissors suitable for both left- and right-handed users.
Maintenance & use
Never cut into bones or frozen items as this may damage the egg. Always wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly immediately.
Please note that both the blade and handle can be seriously damaged and broken if the knife is washed in a dishwasher – this also applies to stainless steel and wooden handles.
