Sharpening of Japanese knives
The Foodgear team are knife geeks who are passionate about passing on our knowledge and learning from us. We regularly hold grinding workshops in the shop located in Torvehallerne Copenhagen.
At a workshop we explain about Japanese knives, why they are the way they are and tell a little about the history of the knives. Then we talk about grinding, and the participants will try it hands-on. We are happy to provide knives and whetstones.
We are also happy to go out to cookery schools, companies, food clubs etc. and hold lectures tailored to the individual location.
