Shun Classic
The Classic series is the oldest from KAI Shun and the most well-known. There are quite a few different knives in the series, which means that no matter what purpose you want a knife for, it is most likely to be found in this series.
Designed by the team behind KAI, this range of knives combines the traditional craftsmanship with the beautiful damascus and modern functionality, resulting in a knife of incredibly high quality. These knives are of course handmade.
The blade is forged in 65 layers of Damascus steel, which gives a hard hardened knife, but which is also very user-friendly and can be used by most
The core steel is VG-10 steel, one of the hardest on the market and has a hardness of 61 +/-1 HRC.
The stock is made of pakka wood and has been in a liquid poly bath and placed under vacuum. This means that the handle is resistant to water and juices, so that it will not lose either shape or colour. The handle is D-shaped to provide the best possible support for right-handers.
