Handmade leather saya by retired leather craftsman Ole Rudegaard. Since he is retired, this is a small extra pursuit he enjoys whenever he has the time and receives an order.
They are made with high-quality leather on the outside and magnetic plastic on the inside, so the saya sits securely on the knife and you avoid cutting into the leather when sheathing it. There is also a narrow strip of leather at the bottom to be as gentle as possible on the knife's edge during transport.
Maintenance & use
Never cut into bones or frozen items as this may damage the egg. Always wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly immediately.
Please note that both the blade and handle can be seriously damaged and broken if the knife is washed in a dishwasher – this also applies to stainless steel and wooden handles.
