Description & specifications
Sankurafuto (Suncraft in English) from Seki in Japan makes exceptionally luxurious knives.
We found these knives when we visited the Ambiente trade fair in Frankfurt. From the moment we first saw them, we were completely smitten and had to know more.
The knives are not only beautiful, they are also an absolute delight to work with.
They are made up of three layers - two soft outer layers and a hard core steel - SGP Strix
SGP Strix is a further development of the very popular powder steel SG2. They have managed to make it even harder, so it holds its edge longer, while also making it easier to sharpen.
