Description & specifications

Yu Kurosaki is a relatively young forge from Takefu Knife Village in Echizen, Japan. Over the past few years, he has taken the knife world by storm, with his creative designs and exceptional hardening abilities.

The incredibly skilled forge is known for its extremely beautiful and functional knives. He is particularly known for his Tsuchime finish, which can be found on, among other things, his Senko series.

The knife here is a 240mm chef's knife made in 3 layers, with respectively SG2 in the core and 2 stainless outer layers. SG2 is a very hard, stainless powder steel type which has the characteristics of being very sharp and holding the edge for a long time.
