Wash the spatula by hand with mild soap and warm water and dry it immediately so it does not become waterlogged. Avoid the dishwasher. Treat the wood regularly with a food-safe oil (e.g. sunflower or mineral oil) to preserve its moisture and sheen. Store dry and away from direct heat.
Maintenance & use
Never cut into bones or frozen items as this may damage the egg. Always wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly immediately.
