An absolute work of art forged by the relatively young blacksmith Kisuke Manaka from Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture.
He is self-taught and through his 10 years of training he has become really good at laminating steel from scratch and hardening it in house.
His series KokuENN is 100% hand folded damask in blue #1 and blue #2 carbon steel, unfortunately it is a series he has stopped producing as it simply takes too long for him and is too labor intensive to be able to make a profit ( there of the high price).
Comes without a handle, but a custom handle made according to your own wishes is included in the price.
