Kitchen knife with orange handle particularly suitable for children
If the youngest in the family thinks it's fun to help out in the kitchen, MAC has developed a knife that allows children to help, for example. to cut vegetables in a safe way.
The children's knife has several details that increase safety compared to normal kitchen knives. First of all, the knife is not sharp, so you don't risk stabbing yourself with it. In addition, the knife is rounded at the heel at the back, and in combination with the handle with a slightly rough surface, it ensures that the child's fingers do not slip accidentally. The white line on the blade of the knife marks where the knife is sharp - and the knife is sharp! It is also important that it does not require too much effort to use it.
In addition to this variant, the children's knife is also available in green and blue .
Maintenance & use
Never cut into bones or frozen items as this may damage the egg. Always wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly immediately.
Please note that both the blade and handle can be seriously damaged and broken if the knife is washed in a dishwasher – this also applies to stainless steel and wooden handles.
