This knife is made with a core of White #2 steel, an example of their dedication to quality and precision. The blade, made of three layers of steel, offers a 'clean' cutting ability, but requires careful maintenance as it is not stainless. To maintain the quality of the knife, it is not recommended to use a dishwasher. As the blade is not completely stainless, it is important to rinse and dry the knife thoroughly after use to prevent oxidation.
Maintenance & use
Never cut into bones or frozen items as this may damage the egg. Always wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly immediately.
Please note that both the blade and handle can be seriously damaged and broken if the knife is washed in a dishwasher – this also applies to stainless steel and wooden handles.
