Super good knife series from Japanese MAC. They started making this series for sushi chefs because the rice stuck to the blade and the Teflon coating could help. Since then, a whole series has been made, as it helps with most tasks in the kitchen. The Santoku is a super good knife for virtually all tasks, and is the Japanese version of the classic chef's knife.

Maintenance & use

Never cut into bones or frozen items as this may damage the egg. Always wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly immediately.

Please note that both the blade and handle can be seriously damaged and broken if the knife is washed in a dishwasher – this also applies to stainless steel and wooden handles.
